We cap our 1% full-service listing option at $7,500 for our sellers in the Triangle. For example, if your house sells for $400,000, your listing cost for full service would be $4,000 (1% of $400,000). However, if your house sells for $800,000, our commission for that full service listing would stop at $7,500, as opposed to $8,000 in that example.
A commission for the agent who brings you a buyer is required regardless of the listing service level. Ask your agent for details about commission patterns in your area of the Triangle.
Flat fee listing clients may be required to obtain a measurement of the home from an appraiser if reliable square footage information is not at hand for listing the home.
